Tim Dismond, chief responsibility officer of CBRE, commented on his company's inclusion on the 100 Best Corporate Citizens of 2021 list. "Responsible business practices have never been more vitally important with the effects of the pandemic, ongoing risks from climate change, and other significant challenges," said Dismond. "CBRE is proud of our efforts to address these challenges and, with the help of our people, are determined to make continued progress on ESG matters."
Jeff Rangel, senior director of global corporate responsibility at Palo Alto Networks, took to LinkedIn to celebrate his company's joining a coalition coordinated by Pledge 1% to assist with urgent needs in India around COVID-19 and infrastructure challenges. "Grateful for the team at Pledge 1% and the 43+ companies who collectively mobilized $28M to help address the pressing needs across India," said Rangel.

The Baker Hughes Foundation has announced a $150,000 grant to five organizations that promote food security in local communities. The funds will help the organizations provide food and basic services to meet increased demand prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
FedEx announced the launch of the FedEx E-Commerce Learning Lab, a new program developed in collaboration with Accion Opportunity Fund (AOF), a leading nonprofit organization providing small business owners with access to capital, networks, and coaching. The program is designed to help diverse small business owners who are looking to develop or expand their e-commerce operations as they continue to adapt their business models in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, with a focus on women and entrepreneurs of color.
