Geneviève Piché has been appointed as head of ESG Solutions at Wells Fargo. In this newly created role, Piché will drive a cohesive approach to meet accelerated demand for ESG products in the corporate and investment bank. Piché will partner with the company’s social impact and sustainability team, public affairs, and other business segments to help drive a holistic firm-wide response to evolving ESG opportunities. “In the past year, demand for ESG solutions from our corporate clients has surged across many areas, from subscription finance to equity capital markets, M&A, and bond issuance. Clients are increasingly focused on ESG-related solutions to meet sustainability goals,” said Rob Engel, head of banking at Wells Fargo. “Geneviève brings extensive leadership experience and a passion for all aspects of ESG and we look forward to seeing her leadership and partnership across the CIB platform.”

Congratulations to the members who released CSR reports recently:
- Banfield Pet Hospital’s recently published 2020 CSR Report outlines efforts to serve its purpose: a better world for pets. Initiatives include $12 million invested in COVID-19 benefits to support associate, $1 million commitment toward diversity efforts, and $570,000+ from the Banfield Foundation to shelters impacted by COVID-19.
- Novartis published its annual Novartis in Society ESG Report for the eighth consecutive year. Highlights include COVID-19 response, access, global health, ethics and compliance, and responsible citizenship. The report has been prepared in accordance with GRI Standards.
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport has launched a comprehensive Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) Strategy. This defined DE&I Strategy–with the full support of Airport leadership–aligns with organization-wide beliefs that inspire positive actions, encourages supportive behaviors and lifts everyone as they strive to achieve ambitious and important results. The goal is to raise awareness, provide the necessary resources and tools for employees to fully engage at work, and serve customers with cultural awareness and sensitivity.
UPS is partnering with the Government of Ghana, Gavi, and Zipline to deliver the COVID-19 vaccine to the people of Ghana. UPS deliveries of initial vaccines arrived last week in Ghana and transportation will begin swiftly within the country. “The UPS Foundation is committed to supporting the equitable distribution of COVID-19 vaccines around the globe”, says Nicole Clifton, president of the UPS Foundation. “UPS is pleased to partner with Zipline and the Government of Ghana to advance health and wellbeing for the Ghanaian community. This is a moment like no other and it demands the expertise that UPS has developed in Healthcare Logistics. We are moving the world forward by delivering what matters and UPS is proud to be a key player in the global public-private partnerships helping to distribute vaccines to the world.”
Zebra Technologies has launched a new children's book titled Zippy's Special Gift, a positive story focused on Zebra’s mascot Zippy, which celebrates differences and teaches young readers to enjoy the uniqueness of who they are. Proceeds from the book sales benefit Bernie's Book Bank. It has received a Gold Mom’s Choice Award in the Children’s Picture Books – Specialized Concepts/Differently Abled category and a 5-star review from Readers’ Favorite Book Reviews. Zebra CEO Anders Gustafsson states in the book foreword, “Zebra Technologies believes in ‘doing well by doing good’ – sharing our gifts with customers, partners, and local communities through philanthropy and volunteer activities. Zippy’s experience reflects the opportunity we all have to celebrate our differences and create a sense of belonging for everyone.
