Spotlight on You
Evan Harvey, Nasdaq’s Global Head of Sustainability shared his company's statement to support and stand in unity with its Asian colleagues and communities, internally and externally, expressing sadness and shock at the increase we have seen in hate and violence toward people of Asian American and Pacific Islander descent. “Remembrance is important, but let’s take action, too. Check these resources, offer your support, and speak up in your circles,” Harvey said.

Member Companies in the News
Fast Company recently announced its ten most innovative social responsibility companies of 2021, which features three member companies: Microsoft was recognized for its promise to become carbon neutral by 2030—but also, by 2050, to remove all the carbon the company has ever emitted since its founding in 1975. Capital One and Verizon were recognized for their efforts in remote learning, with Capital One expanding its Capital One Coders summer program by 400% over the course of last summer, shifting to a virtual classroom model to engage primarily low-to-moderate income students in tech; and Verizon's Innovative Learning doubling down in its effort to provide under-resourced schoolchildren with their own in-built technology devices and free data plans so they could comfortably engage in distance learning.
ON Semiconductor has published its 2020 Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) results specific to the semiconductor industry. The company also confirmed that its sustainability programs are aligned with the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). Earlier this year, ON Semiconductor affirmed its climate change policy and planned actions, including addressing carbon emissions from global manufacturing operations, delivering products that help customers achieve climate goals, and educating employees on sustainable living.
T. Rowe Price launched its first product that gives investors the opportunity to simultaneously pursue their financial goals and to have a positive impact on the global environment and social equity issues. The T. Rowe Price Global Impact Equity Fund recognizes the changes afoot in financial markets as many investors seek to marry these goals and as corporations, investors, and other stakeholders increasingly appreciate the link between societal good and financial performance.
