Spotlight on You

Eduardo Martinez, president of The UPS Foundation and UPS chief diversity and inclusion officer, has joined the board of directors of World Food Program USA. As a board member, Martinez will support World Food Program USA's mission around the world on behalf of the United Nations World Food Program (WFP). "It's my honor and privilege to support World Food Program USA," said Martinez. "I have long admired this organization for the impactful mission and work it undertakes to bring life-sustaining support to people and communities around the world."

Gina West (Johnston), director, community investment and engagement at Fannie Mae, posted on LinkedIn in support of Market 7, a community marketplace featuring several Black-owned businesses for the purpose of alleviating food and retail deserts in D.C.’s underserved Ward 7. Market 7 is one of three semi-finalists in the nationwide Essence + Pine Sol’s Build Your Legacy Grant Competition, in which the grants will be determined by public vote. “If you are so inclined, please help Market 7 win a grant to open a food hall that will help alleviate the food and retail desert in DC's Ward 7!” said West.

 

Job Postings

Apple Inc. is hiring an Environmental Program Manager and Environment, Health and Safety Lead in Cupertino, CA, to provide support at Apple Park, Apple's corporate headquarters.

Clorox is looking for a Director of ESG (Corporate Responsibility) Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement in Oakland, CA, to lead the development and continual enhancement of its corporate ESG strategy.

The Coca-Cola Company is looking for an ES (Environmental Sustainability) Governance Manager at its Tokyo, JP location to promote ES governance, manage environmental performance data, and develop and implement environment programs for the entire Coca-Cola operation.

Fannie Mae is looking for a Senior Vice President of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) & Mission in Washington, DC to set the company’s ESG and mission agenda in concert with critical enterprise stakeholders.

General Mills is looking for a Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager in Buffalo, NY to act as an advisor and to implement standards and procedures that protect human safety and the environment.

Guidehouse is hiring an Inclusion & Diversity Program Associate in McLean, VA, to support program and management activities of the firm’s Inclusion & Diversity strategy.

Honeywell is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator in Smithfield, RI, who will provide a key role in the HSE function, and support key processes and help track performance metrics.

JUST ADDED: Samsung is hiring a Corporate Social Responsibility Manager in San Jose, CA, to work with leaders and colleagues to develop messaging and programming for key CSR campaigns and programs.

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. has published its 2019 Annual Report on Sustainability, as well as its 2019 Climate Report. The Report on Sustainability details the company’s long-standing commitment to manage responsibly their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. “We are proud of how our workforce is responding to the increasing challenges facing our industry and to the more immediate global health crisis,” states Richard Adkerson, CEO, and Gerald Ford, non-executive chairman of the board. “Our continued dedication to sustainable and responsible copper production and our progress during the year have set a solid foundation for the future.”

ViacomCBS employees around the world will share their talents and their energy into helping individuals and organizations in need as part of the company’s reimagined Virtual Community Day. During the next few weeks, employees will engage in a number of virtual volunteer activities, including mentoring students with America on Tech, hosting social issues discussions with the ACLU, and leading virtual learning hours with Breakthrough New York. "It is our ongoing commitment to each other and to our communities to do more, together," stated Crystal Barnes, senior vice president for corporate responsibility and ESG strategy and reporting.
