Victoria Hay, director of corporate social responsibility at AIGgave BCCCC a shout-out on LinkedIn. "While virtual, the insights from the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship are as valuable as ever!" she said of our Executive Director Katherine V. Smith's participation in a live meeting with the Corporate Community Relations Council. "Great discussion on thoughtfully pivoting corporate citizenship toward COVID-19 relief efforts." Jeff Bellows, vice president corporate citizenship and public affairs at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, shared his company’s list of Massachusetts companies rising to the challenge of COVID-19. “Massachusetts companies are bringing energy, compassion and innovation to the fight versus the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Bellows. Among those on the list is Boston-based New Balance, which has begun producing general-use facemasks for health care workers. 

Edward White Jr., executive director at National Grid Foundation, expressed excitement over his organization's response to COVID-19. On LinkedIn, White said, "Excited to announce National Grid U.S. Foundation is working with more than 45 local organizations across MA, RI, and NY to help support hunger relief and human services for those in need and struggling from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic."

Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is hiring a Corporate Social Responsibility Intern in Boston, MA, to provide CSR communications support and contribute to its CSR strategy development.

Apple Inc. is hiring an Environmental Program Manager and Environment, Health and Safety Lead in Cupertino, CA, to provide support at Apple Park, Apple's corporate headquarters.

Aramark is hiring a Sustainability Director in Lexington, KY, to implement standard operating sustainability procedures and practices in the areas of responsible sourcing, local and Kentucky Proud purchasing, efficient operations, and waste minimization.

Axxess is looking for a Corporate Citizenship Coordinator in Dallas, TX to assist in the company’s efforts to be a model of a socially responsible member of its community.

Ball Corporation is expanding its diversity and inclusion team by hiring a Manager, Diversity & Inclusion Operations and Coordinator, Diversity & Inclusion, both located in Broomfield, CO.

CommScope is looking for a Product Sustainability Manager in Horsham, PA, to minimize the environmental impacts of its products while leveraging product sustainability concepts to deliver benefit for the company and its customers.

Campbell Soup Company has released its 2020 Corporate Responsibility Report, which reaffirms its commitment to real food that matters for life’s moments. "This past year, we introduced a new strategic plan that we are confident will create value for all of our stakeholders," said President and CEO Mark Clouse. "One of the key pillars of our new strategy is to 'Deliver on the promise of our purpose.' To do this, we are advancing our commitment to real food, transparency and sustainability, and to fostering deep community connections where we have operations."

Jacobs has launched a Climate Action Plan committing to achieve and maintain 100% renewable energy, net zero carbon for the company's operations and business travel in 2020, and carbon negativity for its operations and business travel by 2030. "Today, we reveal a plan that sets us apart – capturing the shared passion, pride, and drive of our people as we work to preserve our planet for future generations," said Jacobs Chair and CEO Steve Demetriou. "From the way we operate our business, to the work we perform with clients and other organizations, Jacobs' Climate Action Plan details how we will continue to make a positive environmental, societal, and economic difference for businesses, governments, and communities around the world."
