Apple is accelerating its support for affordable housing initiatives and over the past 18 months has deployed more than $1 billion for projects across California, as part of the company’s $2.5 billion commitment to combat the housing crisis. Apple’s financial commitment has already helped thousands of people in the state become homeowners for the first time. In addition, Apple is providing capital to facilitate the construction of thousands of new affordable units and supporting at-risk communities.

Liberty Mutual announced it is providing an additional $1.5 million in grants to Boston-area nonprofit partners as part of the company’s ongoing strategic support in response to the impacts of the coronavirus. The funding will help organizations enhance summer programming, allowing students to use out-of-school time for academic development, and will support the expansion of mental health counseling, coaching, and advocacy programs.

Morgan Stanley and Opportunity Finance Network announced that Morgan Stanley has awarded $21.7 million in funding to support human capital and professional development for the Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) network, and to make pass-through grants to CDFIs. These grants are designed to help CDFIs increase their lending capacity to the communities they serve, especially in Black, Latinx, Native, and rural communities.

Subaru of America recently published its third annual Corporate Impact Report. The digital impact report shares the story of the automaker's commitment to its customers, community, and to living out the Subaru Love Promise in the 2020 calendar year.
