Corporate Citizenship Story Hour: Grow the Good

Corporate Citizenship Story Hour: Grow the Good

There is a particular kind of wisdom that only comes from doing — from making the call, building the coalition, absorbing the setback, and finding a way forward anyway. This session is built around that wisdom.
In the Corporate Citizenship Story Hour, five leaders take ten minutes each to tell the story of their work and/or life experience from the inside out. The theme is Grow the Good — and the questions at the heart of each story are deceptively simple: Why are you doing the things you are doing to make the world a better place? And how are you actually doing it?
Speakers come from across sectors and geographies, and journeys. What they share is a commitment to honesty — about what is working, what is hard, and what keeps them going. This is not a session about perfection. It is a session about purpose in motion. Attendees can expect to hear about the inflection points that shaped the individual's approach to community investment, the internal champions who made the difference, the programs that grew beyond their original vision, and the lessons that only came after something did not go as planned. Between speakers, brief reflections from Rey Ocañas invite the audience to connect what they are hearing to their own experience and practice.
The Corporate Citizenship Story Hour is a space for listening, for recognition, and for the kind of professional renewal that comes from being reminded — in another person's words — of why this work matters.
