Accreditation

The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master's degree programs in nursing, and DNP program at the Connell School of Nursing at Boston College are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street, NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791.

The Connell School was most recently accredited in 2018 and earned a 10-year, full accreditation for its baccalaureate degree program in nursing and master's degree program in nursing. 

The Connell School of Nursing's Doctor of Nursing Practice program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education through December 31, 2027.

The Boston College Nurse Anesthesia Program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs through June 2026, this program is a collaborative effort with the Associated Physicians of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians.


 The Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing annually reviews the Connell School of Nursing’s baccalaureate degree program in nursing and master's degree program in nursing and has continued to award full approval status in compliance with 244 CMR 6.04: Standards for Nursing Education Program Approval.
