COVID-19 Information

The safety of our visitors and the local community is very important to us. The Ionospheric Effects Symposium will follow the guidance of health, government, and local officials to make the safest decisions in terms of how we host this event.  By working together, we can enjoy a safe and comfortable conference.

As these guidelines are subject to updates as the situation continues to evolve, please check this page frequently for the latest available information.

Currently, all visitors are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated.  Visitors who are not vaccinated should wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.

Local regulations may require masks in certain public indoor venues regardless of vaccination status, including on public transportation. Local merchants may also require masks at their businesses.

Air Travel to the US

As of 8 November 2021, foreign national air passengers traveling to the US must be fully vaccinated.  Details and updates on these requirements may be found on the US State Department Website and their FAQ page:
