The Office of Student Involvement offers resources and support for students to promote learning and build community by focusing on four key areas: student organizations, student governance, leadership education, and campus-wide programming.

Undergraduate Government of Boston College (UGBC)
The Undergraduate Government of Boston College—the official representative voice for students—sponsors educational, social, and cultural programs around campus.
Elections Committee
The roles and responsibilities of the Elections Committee are to organize informational meetings for potential UGBC candidates, facilitate elections, enforce the Election Code, manage presidential and vice-presidential debates, approve campaign materials, and answer any questions and/or concerns of the individuals involved in all elections.
Campus Activities Board
The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a student-led group that coordinates diverse events, programs, and activities that foster personal development, school spirit, and community involvement.
Senior Week
Senior Week, which takes place just before Commencement, includes the Alumni Toast, Last Call for Office Hours, Dance Through the Decades, Commencement Ball, and more.
Weeks of Welcome
Weeks of Welcome is a series of events where first-year students have the opportunity to meet one another in a fun setting and learn about their new environment.
Leadership Programs
The Office of Student Involvement offers students opportunities to develop leadership skills and abilities through transformative, experiential programs. Students who participate in our programs will engage in reflection and discernment—allowing them to form a personal philosophy of leadership and realize their ability to lead on individual, group, and community levels.
