Challenge 2050
The Toyota Environmental Challenge 2050 is a set of six goals against which Toyota measures its teammates’ contributions to creating a more sustainable society. Framed as challenges, these goals work to reduce—or altogether eliminate—the CO2 emissions from new Toyota vehicles, as well as emissions generated during the life cycle of manufactured vehicles and at Toyota plants. These goals also position Toyota to minimize water usage across all arms of business, promote a recycling-based society, and partner with like-minded organizations to contribute to biodiversity.
