Data philanthropy, or using data analysis to help solve social problems, is on the rise at companies that specialize in business analytics and information systems. Just as data expertise can be a leading component of a corporate citizenship initiative, leveraging and communicating data can also prove corporate citizenship’s value. In this article in the Spring 2020 issue of the Corporate Citizen, Teradata and TransUnion use their core business capabilities to support nonprofits, engage their employees to do social good, and educate and empower consumers.
