MEMBER MEETUP | Corporate Action against Racial Inequality - FOR MEMBERS

Since the killing of George Floyd and the worldwide protests against police brutality towards Black individuals and systemic racial inequality, corporations have stepped up not only to speak out, but also to take action against racial injustice.

From taking public stances against racism; to donating millions to organizations that support racial equality; to giving employees time off for Juneteenth or to participate in peaceful protest; to committing to fair and equal treatment of employees of color across organizational levels, BCCCC member companies are stepping forward to provide immediate and ongoing community support.

Still, there is much work to be done. Companies are asking what they can be doing differently—and better—now and in the future. How is your company responding to the recent calls for improving racial equality? What has been the response of leadership? Of employees? What is the role of your corporate citizenship team? How can corporate citizenship professionals learn from and elevate one another’s work?

Join us for this Member Meetup to listen, learn, and share how companies are taking action to fight racial inequality and to promote social justice in support of employees and communities—from immediate steps being taken now, to long-term plans for addressing systemic racism into the future.
