Spotlight on You
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept 15-Oct 15), Nasdaq is shining a spotlight on ¡Adelante Nasdaq!, their Employee Resource Group that brings together our Hispanic, Latinx, indigenous communities and allies. Carmen Mora, senior administrative assistant at Nasdaq, who is proudly Mexican American, lent her insights. "I believe the best way to be a good ally to the Latinx community is to educate yourself about the community, create inclusive environments where Latinx are supported and encouraged to lead," said Mora. "I think it is extremely important to give people from these communities an opportunity to be leaders and speak up."

ViacomCBS has announced Content for Change, a global companywide initiative that seeks to apply scientific research, rigor, and data to transform the company's entire creative ecosystem, grounded in the principle that media has a crucial role in influencing public opinion. Content for Change aims to address this by focusing on three pillars: 1) the content ViacomCBS produces; 2) the creative supply chain that powers it; and 3) the culture that underpins everything the company does—and, as a result, combat racism, bias, stereotypes, and all forms of hate that can perpetuate on-screen. The initiative will initially focus on racial equity and mental health.
