Agilent released its 2019 Corporate Social Responsibility report: Powered by Purpose. Within, President Mike McMullen lauds the value of corporate citizenship: "When you really care about people, you have a far-reaching responsibility. To work with integrity. To adhere to our core values, in place since Agilent was formed. To always aim to do the right thing."

The Allstate Foundation partners with Serena Williams to raise awareness about financial abuse in a new PSA for its Purple Purse program. "We think this is still an issue that needs a lot of education and a lot of awareness,'' says Ellen Lisak, Purple Purse's senior program officer, adding that research conducted last year by the program found nearly half of Americans weren't familiar with the issue of financial abuse and its warning signs. Deloitte released the results of its 2019 State of Inclusion Survey in an effort to create a more inclusive workplace. While 86 percent of respondents said they could be themselves all or most of the time at work, still certain groups report experiencing bias on a weekly basis—most commonly those who identify as LGBT, people with military status, and people with disabilities.

Freeport-McMoRan's partnership fund sponsors the cost of boarding school for more than 1,000 children of the seven local indigenous tribes near the PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) operations. PTFI has committed to provide 1 percent of its annual revenue for the development of the local community. Learn more.

Spotlight on You

EY celebrated 21 graduates from its Girls Who Code partnership this week. Dan Higgins and Robert Holston marked the occasion with proud LinkedIn posts!

Hilton president and CEO Christopher Nassetta was named 2020 Hospitality Executive of the Year. Nassetta commented, “We are a business of people serving people, and I am deeply inspired by the incredible ways our hospitality has positively impacted the people and communities we served for the last 100 years.”

We join Julia Wilson of Nielsen in thanking her colleagues Jake Comito, Christie Trinidad, Maria Genova, and Andrea Bertels on their participation in the company’s continued impact on disaster relief efforts in Puerto Rico.             

ON Semiconductor's Director, Diversity & Inclusion and Talent Management Alicia Scott reflected on the company's diversity and inclusion efforts: “We know that having a diverse workforce and hosting inclusive environments across the globe are the right things for our employees, both in and out of the office.”

PSEG employees volunteered a day's time to pick up trash, refill water sources, and plant at Camden's Esperanza Community Garden. Senior Director of Corporate Citizenship & Culture Barb Short cheered them on: “#PSEGPowerofOne!”
