Alexandru (Vlad) Adridan is the future treasurer for AY2020-2021. He is a sophomore majoring in economics with a finance minor. Vlad is originally from Romania, but now resides in New York City. In the future, he aspires to direct and act in movies!

Nick Dawson is Head of Marketing for the Boston College Economics Association. His marketing team is responsible for promoting the club’s activities through social media and email campaigns. He is a junior Economics major with an International Studies minor. A fun fact about Nick is that he has spent six summers working as a standup paddle boarding instructor. He hails from Needham, MA.

Sheryl Ding is the co-chair of marketing for the Boston College Economics Association. She is a sophomore, majoring in economics and minoring in marketing. She hails from from Hershey, PA (like the chocolate). She is also a leader in the First Year Service Program.

Adin Farhat is Senior Vice President of the Boston College Economics Association. He is a current senior Economics major who plans on working at Citigroup after graduating. A fun fact about him is that he loves to travel back to Lebanon where his father is from. Adin hails from Hollis, NH.

Micheal Griglak is the editor of the Eagletarian journal. He is a current senior, double majoring in economics and sociology. In addition to his involvement with BCEA, Micheal is a co-captain of the Boston College Mock Trial team. He has published his academic writings in other undergraduate journals at BC and at Boston University. He hails from Greendale, Wisconsin.

Carolyn King is a freshman member of the marketing team on board majoring in Communications and interested in Film Studies and Economics as well. A fun fact about her is that she met her personal hero, Bill Nye the Science Guy, a few years ago. Carolyn hails from Hopewell, NJ.

Jason Liu is Co-President of the Boston College Economics Association. He is a current junior majoring in Economics and Math. Apart from BCEA, he is also involved with Bike BC and enjoys biking into the city during the weekends. He likes to ski and hike in his free time. Jason hails from Hopkinton, MA.

Daniela Lovio is one of the freshman representatives on board majoring in Economics on the Pre-Law track. Two fun facts about her is that she has been dancing ballet since she was 4 years old, and she also visits family in Chile every year. In the future, Daniela hopes to become a corporate lawyer. She hails from Long Island, NY.

Jiayue Mao is one of the sophomore representatives on board majoring in Finance and Economics. Apart from BCEA, she is also a member of the Parliamentary Debate Union of Boston College and BCCSSA. In her free time, she likes to cook, play the piano, and watch the Nutcracker during Christmas. Jiayue hopes to conduct more research in the field of behavioral economics. She hails from Anhui, China.

Ryan Ollestad is Co-President of the Boston College Economics Association. He is a junior in MCAS majoring in Economics & Philosophy while also receiving a minor in Finance. Here at BC, he is also involved as a mentor in the Investment Banking Association and in his free time he loves to go skiing. Ryan hails from Avon, CT.

Amitha Patel is one of the sophomore representatives on board majoring in Economics with a minor in Finance. Apart from BCEA, she is also a tutor for the CFLC and a member of CAB, BCIC, and BCFA. Her hobbies include working out, travelling, trying out new foods, and cooking. She hails from Calvert County, MD.

Grace Tymann is Co-Vice President of the Boston College Economics Association. She is a junior majoring in Economics with minors in Finance and Managing for Social Impact and the Public Good (Economic Development, Equality and Enterprise track). Apart from BCEA, she is also a member of Boston College Women in Business and the only all-female a cappella group on campus, The Sharps. Grace loves to travel—you can find her on the ski slopes in the winter and by the ocean in the summer. She hails from Wenham, MA.

Ben Wendelstadt is one of the freshman representatives on board majoring in Economics and dabbling with the possibility of Computer Science and Philosophy minors. In the future, he aspires to get involved in early stage venture capital but hopes to be part of research opportunities closer to the field of economics beforehand. In his free time, Ben is deeply passionate about freeride skiing. He hails from Germany and mostly grew up in London, England.

Diane Yoon is a freshman member of the marketing team on board majoring in Economics. A fun fact about her is that she can speak Korean, Chinese, and is currently learning Japanese. Diane is also an avid watcher of Law & Order and hopes to become a lawyer in the future. She hails from Princeton, NJ.
