International Corporate Citizenship Film Festival

We are now accepting submissions for the 2021 International Corporate Citizenship Film Festival, presented by BBVA. Submissions will be accepted through March 5, 2021.

The Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship Film Festival celebrates the work and impact of corporate citizenship programs—as well as the inspiring methods companies use to communicate their efforts. The winners will be honored at a formal ceremony at the 2021 International Corporate Citizenship Conference.

RULES AND OTHER IMPORTANT FILM FESTIVAL INFORMATION

Submission Period
Films, in the form of video uploads, will be accepted from January 6, 2021 to March 5, 2021.

Eligibility
The Film Festival is exclusive to for-profit companies, which are eligible to participate regardless of size or location, including both members and nonmembers of the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship.

Entry for members is FREE; the entry fee for nonmembers is $1,500.

Length and File Format
Films are required to be less than three minutes in length and submitted in one of the following formats: .AVI, .FLV, .MP4, .MPG, .MOV, .FLV, .WMV. Only one entry per company is permitted.

Categories
"Fan Favorite" and "Best in Show" Winners are awarded in addition to the following categories:

  • Small Company (1 - 5,000 employees*)
  • Medium Company (5,000 - 30,000 employees*)
  • Large Company (30,000+ employees*)

*We define employee as a person your company employs for wages or salary; this includes Full-Time employees, Part-Time employees, Temporary employees, and Independent Contractors or Freelancers.

Public Voting
Open to the general public, voting will take place online through the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship website from March 24 to April 9, 2021. The field will be narrowed down to nine finalists, three per size category; public voting determines the Fan Favorite winner.

Judging
The finalists will be reviewed by a panel of judges to choose a winner of each size category, as well as the Best in Show winner. Judging is based on content and storytelling, production quality, and alignment with the participating company’s overall corporate citizenship objectives.

Winner Announced
Winners will be announced on April 26, during the 2021 International Corporate Citizenship Conference, which is being held on April 26-28, 2021 virtually.

Finalists must be present to win.
