Center Staff

Katherine V. SmithKatherine V. Smith, Executive Director 
Katherine is executive director of the Center for Corporate Citizenship, Boston College Carroll School of Management, and part-time faculty in the Carroll School of Management. As executive director, she oversees all of the Center's activities and strategic ventures. As Carroll School of Management faculty, she teaches “Social Issues in Management.” She has worked in nonprofit and higher education organizations for more than 20 years, including Boston College, Brown University where she served last as AVP for Research, and the University of Massachusetts where she served as COO of the Foundation with more than $700 million under management. Katherine has worked on facilitating large scale public-private partnerships and joint research projects over the course of her career, including a series of corporate, foundation, and University research partnerships focused on science and technology and on social issues. Katherine is also a contributor to the Corporate Citizenship blog.


Eileen BlinstrubEileen Blinstrub, Assistant Director, Executive Education & Sponsorships
Eileen manages the Center's on-site and custom executive education training programs. 


Christine CristoChristine Cristo, Administrative Assistant
Christine supports Katherine Smith, the Executive Director.



Jason Gray, Senior Education Advisory and Member Services Associate

Emily HobbsEmily Hobbs, Member Services Associate
Emily manages the services offered to Center members, acting as a liaison between members and Center staff. Contact Emily if you have questions about membership, best practices, or Center resources.


Karen HoffKaren Hoff, Senior Membership Research Analyst
Karen focuses on the development, execution and delivery of the Center’s signature research. She also handles member benchmarking services, and provides support on member requests for corporate citizenship information. 


Dina KovarDina Kovar, Manager, Information Systems
Dina supports in-house and vendor web applications, database technologies, and reporting tools. She has 14 years of experience as a web developer, with nine of those years in higher education.


Kenda KuncaitisKenda Kuncaitis, Associate Director of Programs & Events
Kenda manages all events sponsored by the Center for Corporate Citizenship, including the annual International Corporate Citizenship Conference, dozens of training and executive education offerings, as well as other regional meetings and roundtables.


Patricia MacKenzie, Director, Marketing & Communications 
Patricia manages all marketing communication and digital strategies increasing public understanding of the mission, strategic initiatives and center offerings. She is passionate about a 360 approach and has an MA in Marketing Communications from the University of Westminster.  Patricia has over 15 years of experience working for a variety of companies both Fortune 500 and non-profit. Patricia is also a contributor to the Corporate Citizenship blog.


Dylan Mayer, Member Services Associate
Dylan manages the services offered to Center members, acting as a liaison between members and Center staff. Contact Dylan if you have questions about membership,  best practices, or Center resources.


Jon Mendicina, Director, Finance and Operations
Jon is responsible for the management of all fiscal operations including budgeting, forecasting, analysis and financial reporting.  He has more than 14 years of experience in corporate finance with 12 of those years within the education sector.


Coleen OlphertColleen Olphert, Director, Membership and Member Services
Colleen leads the strategy and operations related to the recruitment and retention of member companies. Since joining the center in 2001 Colleen has had thousands of conversations with business professionals on the challenges and opportunities corporate citizenship presents to them. In her current role she uses her knowledge and experience to provide direction on content connected to member services. Prior to joining the Center, Colleen worked in the non-profit sector. She received her MBA and MSW from Boston College. Colleen is also a contributor to the Corporate Citizenship blog


Karen O'MalleyKaren O'Malley, Program Manager, Executive Education
Karen is responsible for administration of the Center’s Executive Education programs.


Rick PagilaruloRick Pagliarulo, Marketing Database Analyst
Rick is responsible for the maintenance, and control of the Center’s database. His primary responsibility is to  analyze all informational requirements, develop database specifications, and enforce all database standards.

Sabrina Prestera, Fiscal Specialist
Sabrina is responsible for the day-to-day finance operations for the Center staff.


Stewart Rassier, Director of Executive Education and Advisory Products
Stewart is the Director of Executive Education at the Center, he has more than 11 years of sustainability education, communications, and advisory experience working with leading companies across the globe. Stewart has designed and implemented workshops, sustainability strategies, policies, programs, and performance management systems that connect sustainability to the business, reduce cost, engage stakeholders, and produce impact. Prior to the Center, Stewart was the Regional Head of North America at AccountAbility, a Sustainability advisory, research, and standards organization, and was a Director at Saatchi Sustainability, a sustainability strategy consultancy within the global communications firm. Stewart is a graduate of the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, where he received both his bachelor's and master's degree in international relations and social anthropology. Stewart is also a contributor to the Corporate Citizenship blog.


Liz RogersLiz Rogers, Senior Education Advisory and Member Services Associate
Liz manages the services offered to Center members, acting as a liaison between members and Center staff.  Contact Liz if you have questions about membership, webinars, best practices, or Center resources.


Sharon SabinSharon Sabin, Communications Specialist
Sharon is the Center's designer and desktop publisher, and is responsible for applying our look and identity to all printed publications.


Jessica Shearer, Senior Writer/Editor
Jessica is responsible for the editorial product of the Center. She focuses on the production of communication plans and print and web-based knowledge assets for the member community. 


Kerin SikorskiKerin Sikorski, Manager, Web & Social Media
Kerin is responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of social media and website initiatives for the Center's website and social media platforms.


Susan ThomasSusan Thomas, Associate Director, Marketing & Communications
Susan is responsible for the marketing communication of Center products and services. She has more than 25 years experience in the corporate citizenship field.


Rick Ward, Membership Manager
Rick is responsible for membership recruitment and overall account management. Through relationship building and learning the needs and challenges of member companies, Rick’s goal is to increase member retention and diversify the Center’s corporate membership base.
