What can I expect to get out of the conference?

Premiere networking: Connect with professionals from leading corporations, diverse industries and geographic regions. Exchange ideas, experiences and challenges with a knowledgeable and committed network of corporate citizenship experts.

Valuable tools and frameworks: Through interactive sessions, participants will learn new methods and techniques to help build their capacity for developing integrated corporate citizenship strategies and programs.

Who should attend the conference?
Participants are responsible for their company's community and business strategies and typically represent more than 350 companies, traveling from more than two dozen countries.

Please note that registration is open exclusively to corporate citizenship practitioners inside of companies. Nonprofits, consultants, media, students and academics are not typically part of our participant mix unless they are a content partner. How can I contribute to the conference?
The Center depends on sponsorship to help sustain our efforts in providing you with the most compelling research and learning opportunities. If your organization would like to consider sponsoring this year's program, please contact ccc@bc.edu.

The best way to educate your organization on corporate citizenship is by attending the International Corporate Citizenship Conference. Invite members of your team, senior management and those who need to know more about driving a corporate citizenship agenda. We offer team discounts for groups of three or more.

Can I get Boston College credit for attending the conference?
No. Participation in the International Corporate Citizenship Conference is not applicable toward completion of one of the Center's certificate programs.

Do I need to make my own hotel reservations?

Yes. The Center has blocked rooms for conference attendees at The Westin Copley Place at a special group rate of $249 per night (plus taxes). Each attendee must make his/her own hotel room reservation.

  • Please be sure to make your hotel reservation at the Westin Copley Place, Boston before the group rate sells out.   A block of rooms has been reserved at a special rate of $249/night. Each attendee must make his/her own hotel room reservation.
  • To make your hotel reservations at the Westin Copley Place Boston, please click here. This link will take you to a reservation page that will automatically fill in our group code and ensure you receive the group rate of $249 per night.
  • Please note, the special room rate will be available until March 6, 2017 or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first. Reservations received after March 6, 2017 will be accepted at the hotel’s prevailing rate.

What is the suggested attire for the conference?
The stated dress code is business casual; however, we encourage all attendees to dress as they feel comfortable. Hotel meeting spaces are often well air conditioned, so please dress appropriately.

Can I bring a guest to the dinner events?
Unfortunately, due to space restrictions, we are unable to allow non-conference attendees to attend the conference functions.

REGISTRATION & SPONSORSHIP

How do I register for the conference?
To register, visit conference.bc.edu. As a reminder, registration is open exclusively to corporate citizenship practitioners and CSR professionals inside of companies. Nonprofits, consultants, media and academics are not typically part of our participant mix unless they are a content partner. If you have questions about your eligibility to attend the conference or would like to request special consideration, please email registration@bc.edu.

How do I change an existing registration?
All changes to registration information must be submitted in writing. If at any time you need to update a piece of information submitted on your registration form, please email registration@bc.edu. This can be done any time prior to the conference. You will receive an email confirmation of your changes.

What are the conference registration fees?

Are there any discounts available?
Beyond the early registration and member discounts, there are additional types of discounts available for conference registrants: Sponsor, Team, and New Member discounts.

  • Sponsor Discount: If your organization is a conference sponsor you are eligible for a $200 discount on the listed registration fees. To find out if your organization is a Conference sponsor, please visit our Conference Sponsor page.
  • Team Discount: 3+ Registrations receive $100 off per registration at current rate. 6+ Registrations receive 7th Registration FREE in addtion to $100 off per registration at current rate
  • New Member Discount: Registrants qualify for the new member discount if their company joined BCCCC on or after March 1, 2016. If you are unsure of your join date contact us at ccc@bc.edu.

Am I a member of the Center for Corporate Citizenship?

Is my company a conference sponsor?

What are the benefits of sponsoring the conference and how do I become a sponsor?
There are many benefits to becoming a sponsor for the 2017 International Corporate Citizenship Conference, including (but not limited to) promotional opportunities, targeted exposure, complimentary registrations, and a discount for all company registrations. The benefits received correspond directly to the level of sponsorship your company chooses.

My organization became a sponsor after I registered for the conference, can I still receive the discount?
Yes. Please email ccc@bc.edu to inquire about refund or credit options.

How will I receive confirmation that I am registered?
You will receive an email acknowledgement from the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship confirming your registration. If you do not receive a confirmation, please feel free to contact us at registration@bc.edu.

How do I cancel my registration for the conference?
Any cancelation requests need to be emailed to registration@bc.edu. Confirmed conference registrants canceling before January 13, 2017 will receive a full refund. Any cancellations between January 14, 2017  and before February 10, 2017 will be subject to a $500 cancellation fee. Confirmed registrants who cancel after February 10th or fail to attend will be charged the entire conference fee. Registrations are transferable to other associates within your organization but cannot be transferred towards a Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship certificate course or a future conference. There is a $100 fee for transfers after February 10, 2017.

Is my conference registration transferable?
Yes. Registrations are transferable to other associates within your organization. Simply email registration@bc.edu to indicate that your registration will be transferred and we will provide instructions for your replacement colleague's registration. Any transfer after February 10, 2017 will be subject to a $100 transfer fee. Please note: While registration for the 2017 conference can be transferred from person to person within an organization, registration cannot be transferred to a Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship certificate course or future conference. 

How do I pay for my conference registration?
Most conference participants choose to pay by credit card at the time of registration. Payments by credit card must be made using our online secure server. Some exceptions apply and those will be handled on a case-by-case basis. All conference registration payments must be received on or before Monday, March 13, 2017.

Yes. The Center for Corporate Citizenship is committed to protecting your privacy. We pledge to use information about our customers responsibly. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. Personally identifiable information may be distributed to other conference attendees only if you "opt in" to give us this information.
