Gap Inc. Fashions a Revealing Look: One in a series of case studies on social reporting

This case study examines the role of reporting in Gap’s corporate citizenship program and looks at how it evolved from a not-so-friendly nudge at the beginning to becoming a vital element of its holistic view of corporate citizenship. It explores why and how Gap produced its first social report, and how the very transparency of its reporting that gave Gap a platform to respond when it faced allegations of child labor in factories.
